A square painting featuring, on a brown mottled background, robust veiny leaf shapes richly coloured purples, reds, yellows and blues. On these cabbage like leaves are two Common Blue butterflies. Framed simply in black wood.

"Metamorphosis Unveiled" was created to explore transformation. Two ethereal butterflies frame a decaying cabbage, sharing bold colours that symbolise life's changes rather than glorifying decay. It's a reflection on the beauty of transformation and life's transitions.
